2) XLG SD Demountable Tube-in-Tube:
This heat exchanger can be used for all of the same applications as the S type above however they make use of a DIN/ISO standard ferrule/clamp (others available on request) for connections. This allows the tube sections to be dismantled quickly and easily. Sanitary design according to 3-A organization in the USA.

4) XLG I Multitube:
This heat exchanger is a multi-tube heat exchanger. Multiple tubes allow for more heat transfer area in a smaller space. This equipment is best suited for fluids without large solids.

1) XLG S Tube-in-Tube:
This heat exchanger can be used for industrial as well as sanitary applicaitons. Since the tube clearances are large and the corrugations induce turbulence this style of equipment is particularly well suited to fluids with solids, fibres or slurries.

5) XLG PH Pharma:
This heat exchanger is a multi-tube heat exchanger specially designed for pharm applications. The double tubesheet ensures no cross-contamination between the fluids. Only FDA approved elastomers are used. Other options include a wide range of strict NDE, additional inspections as well as electropolishing.

6) XLG Triple Tube:
The triple tube heat exchanger is special in that it is designed to heat or cool highly viscous media from both sides. The design involves the use of a channel inside of the viscous fluid along with one outside. This benefit coupled with the turbulence inducing corrugations result in a highly effective heat exchanger.

3) XLG M Multitube:
This heat exchanger is a multi-tube heat exchanger using a DIN/ISO standard ferrule/clamp (others available on request) for connections. This allows the tube sections to be dismantled quickly and easily. Sanitary design according to 3-A organization in the USA. Multiple tubes allow for more heat transfer area in a smaller space. This equipment is best suited for fluids without large solids.

Corrugated tube heat exchangers

Standard shell and tube heat exchangers may not be the best suited for sanitary, pharma or even highly fouling applications. The tube corrugations help to induce turbulence which, in turn, reduces fouling. The added advantage of corrugated tube exchangers is that they are designed for easy dismantling and cleaning.
